Licht!

In 2024, I had the opportunity to make a comic illustration for Comicjuju about “Light.” In this illustration, I talk about how, when I was in Venezuela, back when I was studying in Caracas, the feeling of insecurity was so strong that I was afraid to go out at night. Sometimes, I realize that I’ve forgotten what it was like to live that way.

We were all so afraid of going out at night that the streets were almost empty. It was a common feeling, something we all experienced. And, interestingly, the bad things that did happen to me happened during the day, in the dayight.
