This project was my final master's exercise at Labasad Design Institute.
The project briefing proposes creating a series of illustrations for El País Semanal's report "The Uncertain Revolution Against Obesity", to explore the structural problems of obesity and the pharmaceutical industry.
The main purpose of this article is to inform readers about new pharmaceutical solutions, such as Ozempic. It discusses medical stigma and how patients are often blamed. Although new medications offer short-term benefits, obesity remains a chronic issue that requires lifestyle changes.
The report concludes that, while these medications provide a solution, they do not resolve fundamental problems such as poverty and inequality in our society.
With this project I got lonlgisted in the AOI WIA25 Awards!
